Clock Propagation :

- There are basically two modes of clock propagation wile doing STA analysis

- Ideal Mode : When there are no clock buffers introduced in the design and we model the effect of these buffers in STA

- Propagated Mode : When clock buffers are inserted in the design, the STA tool replaces the modeled clock information with the actual clock information


Clock Uncertainty : Combination of Clock Skew and Clock Jitter is used as a value for the Clock Uncertainty.

Clock Latency :

- Source Latency + Network Latency

- Source Latency : Clock source to the clock port in the design

- Network Latency : Clock port to the register clock pin ( Clock Tree Delay )
